How a vitamin C shower head is built

A vitamin C shower head is mechanically a filter hand shower. Water enters at the G1/2 inlet on the handle base, passes through a sealed cartridge chamber inside the handle, and exits through the spray face. The vitamin C element is the cartridge: either a gel cartridge that dissolves slowly as water passes, or a media blend in which VC is one component alongside mineral beads or calcium sulfite balls. Because the handle is molded in transparent PC, the end user can see the cartridge and knows when to replace it.

Which models can become a vitamin C variant

Any ZHONGHE model with a transparent cartridge handle is a candidate. The ZH2087T, ZH2088T, ZH2092T family, ZH2093T, ZH2094T, ZH2256T, ZH2256T-1, ZH2258 and ZH2100 all show visible bead chambers in their catalog photos, and the chamber accepts a VC gel cartridge in place of, or alongside, the bead media. Choosing an existing mold means the project skips appearance design, structure design, and the roughly 60 days of mold making; only the cartridge, artwork, and packaging change.

Buyers who want a distinct own-brand shape follow the standard ODM route: about 15 days of appearance design, about 15 days of internal structure design, about 60 days of mold making, and about 30 days of mass production, all as working guides that vary with complexity.

Refills, packaging, and what you can claim

A vitamin C cartridge is a consumable, which makes the refill SKU the commercial heart of the program. ZHONGHE supplies replacement cartridges in retail packs, multi-packs, or bulk so the shower head and its refills launch together. Custom packaging is discussable from 2,000 units in retail color box, e-commerce brown box, blister, or bulk formats.

On claims, the factory keeps to what can be shown: the cartridge is visible, replaceable, and dissolves as water flows. Marketing copy that promises skin, hair, or health outcomes is not supported by the factory and can move the product into a different regulatory class in some markets.
