Major shower head manufacturers and brands at a glance

The brands below are listed in alphabetical order, not ranked. Each fact comes from the company's own pages, its parent's annual report or a press release, linked in the sources at the end of the page (Facts checked 2026-10-15). Ownership changes often in this industry, so the owner column gives the position at that date.

Most of these companies design, market and make products across many plants and suppliers; a brand name on a shower head tells you who stands behind the product, not which factory made it.

Need a shower head factory for your own brand? ZHONGHE as an OEM/ODM option

ZHONGHE (Cixi Zhonghe Sanitary Ware Factory) is a shower head factory in Cixi, Ningbo, China, founded in 2001. It molds, assembles, water-tests and packs in its own plant, and works with OEM and ODM buyers and with brand owners who need a factory for their own brand. It is shown here separately from the brands above as a factory option, not as one of them: being listed on this page does not mean any of those brands works with ZHONGHE, and ZHONGHE does not publish customer names.

Order quantities are about 500 units for an existing model in a standard finish and standard packing, about 1,000 with a logo print or color change, and about 2,000 for custom packaging, custom colors or a new filter configuration. Development lead times, as references rather than guarantees: appearance design about 15 days, internal structure about 15 days, mold about 60 days, mass production about 30 days. A design-only service is also available: design fees are quoted per project and can be credited if the product then goes into production at ZHONGHE.

Every finished unit is water tested for about 10 to 20 seconds before packing, switching through every function, normally at 0.5MPa as the leak check, and the ISO 9001 certificate No. 02426Q00147R001 showed as valid on the issuer's online lookup on 2026-10-14. See the OEM/ODM route, the product catalog and the PDF catalog, or send an RFQ.

How to check a shower head factory before you order

Whichever factory you shortlist, check each claim where it is kept rather than on the supplier's own page: the company registration in the official register, the certificate on the certification body's lookup, test reports in their full original with the sample and standard, and lead times and quantities in writing in the quotation. The steps, with ZHONGHE's own records as the worked example, are on the page on how to check a shower head factory.

Who owns whom

LIXIL, the Japanese building-products group formed in 2011, owns GROHE (an affiliate from 2014 and a consolidated subsidiary from 2015) and American Standard (since 2013), and sells showers in Japan under the LIXIL name, with INAX as a heritage brand. Since April 2025, bathtubs and shower bases sold under the American Standard name in North America are made under licence by American Bath Group, while LIXIL keeps toilets, faucets and showers.

Masco, based in Livonia, Michigan, owns Delta Faucet Company outright and holds a majority of Hansgrohe SE, whose founding family remains on the supervisory board; hansgrohe and GROHE are unrelated companies despite the similar names. Moen belongs to Fortune Brands Innovations. KOHLER, Roca and Jaquar are family-owned, and TOTO and LIXIL are listed companies without a parent.
