Mixed programs are common: a retail color box for the flagship channel and a plain brown box for online orders of the same SKU. Whether one order can combine formats is a planning question worth raising early, because it affects line changeovers and carton planning.

A brand mark can live on the product, on the packaging, or both. On-product options include printing on the body, laser marking, and a molded-in logo.
