A Bluetooth speaker shower head carries a detachable, rechargeable, water-resistant speaker module in the face or the handle. ZHONGHE, a shower head factory in Cixi, Ningbo, China, supplies these through its partner factories in the Ningbo cluster, inspected, water tested and packed under ZHONGHE project management. Because the module is electrical and carries a radio, CE and FCC scope is agreed before sampling. MOQ from about 2,000 units.

Also called: shower head with speaker; shower head with bluetooth speaker; music shower head; speaker shower head OEM; bluetooth speaker shower head manufacturer; wireless speaker shower head; water resistant speaker shower head; music shower head factory; 蓝牙音乐花洒; 蓝牙花洒; 音乐花洒

Item | Detail
--- | ---
Construction | A speaker module seated in the head or handle, normally detachable so it can be charged and so the head can be cleaned
Power | Rechargeable battery in the module; charging by cable outside the shower, not from the water flow
Water resistance | An IP rating is specified per project rather than published as a blanket figure
Radio and electrical scope | Bluetooth makes the product a radio device: CE under the EU radio rules and FCC for the United States both come into scope, and the battery brings UN38.3 and air or sea transport documents with it
Supply route | Not one of ZHONGHE's 115 own molds; produced with ZHONGHE's partner factories in the Ningbo cluster and inspected, water tested and packed under ZHONGHE's project management
Packaging | Usually a window or photo box, since the feature is invisible in a dry product; charging cable and instructions packed in
Sourcing | MOQ from about 2,000 units; custom packaging discussable from 2,000 units; every finished head water tested about 10 to 15 seconds before packing

## How the module sits in the product

A speaker shower head is two products in one carton: a shower head, which is a molded and water-tested plumbing part, and a small consumer electronics module, which is a battery, a driver, a radio and a charging port. The usual arrangement puts the module in a recess in the head or the top of the handle, held by a twist lock or a magnet, so the user pulls it out to charge it and drops it back in to shower. A sealed, non-removable module is possible but it makes charging awkward and it makes a warranty return a whole-product return.

That split also decides where the risk sits. The plumbing half behaves like any other head and is water tested on the line. The electronics half is where the failures come from: a charging port that corrodes, a battery that loses capacity, a pairing that drops. Buyers should ask for the module supplier's own test data as part of the sample pack rather than treating it as part of the shower head.

## The compliance step that catches importers out

Adding a radio changes the file an importer has to hold. In the EU, a Bluetooth product falls under the radio equipment rules and the CE marking has to be supported by radio, EMC and safety assessment; in the United States, an intentional radiator needs FCC authorisation and the FCC identifier has to appear on the product or its packaging. Neither is a formality that can be added after the artwork is printed, because the identifier and the marking take space on the label.

The battery adds a second track. A lithium cell needs UN38.3 test documentation to travel, and the carrier, the freight mode and the packing marks all follow from it. Raise the destination market, the transport mode and the required marks in the RFQ before sampling, because the answers can change which module is used and therefore which body it fits.

## Specifying a speaker shower head program

State the head format (handheld or fixed), the finish, the module position, whether the module must be detachable, the IP rating the listing will claim, the battery capacity and play time you need, the charging connector, the destination markets and the marks required, the packaging format and the quantity. Say early which of those numbers will be printed on the box, because those are the ones that have to be measured rather than quoted.

Speaker heads are not among ZHONGHE's 115 own molds. They are produced with ZHONGHE's partner factories in the Ningbo cluster and inspected, water tested and packed under ZHONGHE's project management, so the buyer runs one specification, one sample round and one inspection against the whole pack. A body shape that does not exist in the partner network is still an ODM project on ZHONGHE tooling, with about 15 days of appearance design, 15 days of structure design and 60 days of mold making as guides.

## FAQ

### Does ZHONGHE supply Bluetooth speaker shower heads?

Yes. ZHONGHE supplies shower heads with a detachable rechargeable Bluetooth speaker module. They are not among the 115 models ZHONGHE molds itself: they are produced with ZHONGHE's partner factories in the Ningbo cluster and inspected, water tested and packed under ZHONGHE's project management. State the destination markets in the RFQ, because a radio product needs its marks agreed before the artwork is set. MOQ discussions normally start from about 2,000 units.

### What IP rating does the speaker module have?

The rating is specified per project rather than published as a single figure, because it depends on the module chosen and on whether the module is sealed or detachable. Decide the rating you intend to print on the box first, since that is the claim a marketplace or a regulator will hold you to, and have it confirmed on the sample module before the packaging is approved.

### Do we need CE or FCC approval for a speaker shower head?

Almost always, once the product carries a radio. In the EU a Bluetooth device falls under the radio equipment rules and the CE marking must be supported by radio, EMC and safety assessment. In the United States an intentional radiator needs FCC authorisation and the identifier must appear on the product or the packaging. The lithium battery separately needs UN38.3 documentation to travel. Raise all three in the RFQ before sampling.

### Can the speaker run on the water flow instead of a battery?

Not usefully. A turbine in the water path can light an LED, which is how LED shower heads avoid batteries, but a speaker with a radio needs a stable supply and far more energy, and it has to work while the water is off for the user to pair it. Every practical speaker head therefore carries a rechargeable battery in a removable module.
